Formed in 2009 as an electric-cumbia Latin dance group.  Combining the irresistible grooves of cumbia, dancehall, reggae and dub, Candelaria has grown to develop a unique sound all their own. Bucking the modern trend of programmed beats and computer effects, all of Candelaria's music and dub effects are 100% live and organic, all performed in real-time, on-stage and in their recordings.  Their first self produced record received airplay all over the world. Their second record, produced by five-time Grammy nominee Greg Landau, is due this spring to be followed by a national tour. Each Candelaria show is filled with high-energy, top-quality musical performance, and is guaranteed to stir the crowd into a dancing frenzy.
