The first-annual FUSION: World Music & Dance Festival will be held during May Day weekend to celebrate the arrival of Spring! The dates are May 1st to May 3rd, 2015.

What is FUSION?
FUSION is a three day festival featuring music and dance from around the world, music and dance workshops, a world market filled with amazing vendors, great foods, camping, fun, friendships, laughter, hugs, and all of the good stuff that we all LOVE!

Where is FUSION located?
FUSION: World Music & Dance Festival is located at Lake Casitas in Ventura, California. It's a beautiful lake campground located in the mountains overlooking Ventura Beach. The lake not only provides hundreds of gorgeous campsites, but also our beautiful festival location with a view of the lake! The festival area is filled with grass and shade trees. It's a lovely place to enjoy some great performances with friends!

What if camping isn't my thing?
We understand that not everyone loves to camp and we've got you covered! There are hotels nearby, about a 15 minute drive from the festival in both Ojai and Ventura. Click here to view some options we've listed.

Can I apply to perform at FUSION?
Yes! You can apply to perform at FUSION. We're looking for world dancers and musicians interested in showing off their talents. We're also especially looking for artists who fuse two or more styles of dance and/or music to create a beautiful fusion. Festival Performance spaces are limited. Apply today! Are there bathrooms and showers for campers?
Absolutely! Each beautiful Lake Casitas campground has a restroom facility and there is a main shower building near the Indian campground (I) with a boys side and girls side for showers, complete with doors for privacy.
There will also be portable bathrooms inside the festival area. Please keep 'em clean and leave it as you would want to use it.

Will there be food vendors at FUSION?
Definitely! We will have some amazing food vendors serving up delicious bites for everyone in our food truck row. There will also be a farmer's market area located in the World Marketplace offering fresh fruits and veggies. yum!

Where is the VIP camping for FUSION?
VIP camping is located in the Musician's Camp inside the festival space. It is a large camping area underneath some beautiful shade trees on a rolling hilled landscape. Wake up and BE AT the festival without any travel time!

Are there other things to do at Lake Casitas?
So many! There is boating, fishing, kayaking, bicycling, hiking, disc golf, and the beach is just a quick, 15 minute drive away! There is also wine tasting in nearby Ojai, yum!

Is alcohol allowed at the festival?
Yes, but we encourage you to drink responsibly and DO NOT DRIVE after drinking back to your camp space. Please find a designated driver if you are going to be drinking. There will be beer and wine vendors near the Food Truck Row with delicious hand-crafted beers and local wines. NO GLASS ALLOWED.
