IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT CAMPING AT FUSION

 

The first day to book your camping reservations for the weekend of FUSION was November 3rd and spaces are filling up by the day. Camping reservations GO FAST – like will be SOLD OUT by the end of the year fast!! Let's make sure that everyone going has a place to stay. Not sure who you're gonna camp with yet? Book anyway, you'll find a group to join you, we promise! People are going to be dying for a spot, so get your spot today!

 

This is NO JOKE. This is a beautiful campground with a gorgeous lake and it books up quickly even without the festival there. We want to make sure you all get a space. When we camp together, we live as a community, we become one. Make new friends, and spend time with old ones. We'll see you there!

A BIT ABOUT EACH CAMPGROUND 

 

Wondering where to book your camping at Lake Casitas for FUSION 2015? We’ve got some ideas!

 

The closest campground is “Angler” (A). As the letters go up, the campgrounds get farther from the festival area. Here are some fun details about each campground that might help you choose. You can also view individual camp spots on the camping reservations website to fine tune your spot. 

 

ANGLER (A)

• Closest to the festival area.

• Executive RV Hook-ups (paved pad, grassy patch, and hook-ups)

• Closest to the main boat ramp and the cafe.

 

BASS (B)

• Both tent and hook-up sites. 

• Closest tent camping to the festival.

• Pretty view of the water in the lake-side spots.

• Closest to the bike rentals (bringing your bike is a great idea!)

 

CREEKSIDE (C)

• Both tent and RV spots - no hook-ups. 

• More wooded/tree lined here.

• The creek is currently dry unless we get some rain this winter.

• Playground

 

DEER (D)

• Both tent and RV spots - no hook-ups. 

• On the lake side.

• More wooded/tree lined here.

 

EGRET (E)

• All hook-up spots.

• Close to the camp store.

• View of grassy knoll and trees.

 

FOX (F)

• Executive RV Hook-ups (paved pad, grassy patch, and hook-ups) and tent camping.

• Hook-up sites are on the lakeside.

• Tent camping is across the small camp road.

• Right next to the camp store.

 

GREBE (G)

• Both tent and RV spots - no hook-ups. 

• Lakeside spots available.

• This is Blume’s personal favorite campground.

• Playground

 

HAWK (H)

• Both tent and RV spots - no hook-ups.

• Interior camp, no lakeside spots.

 

INDIAN (I)

• RV Hook-ups and tent sites

• Closest to the showers.

• Closest to the second boat ramp (Coyote Boat Ramp).

• Close to Disc Golf course.

• Interior campground, no lakeside spots.

 

JAY (J)

• Both tent and RV spots - no hook-ups.

• Close to showers

• Interior campground, no lakeside spots.

 

KINGFISHER (K)

• Both tent and RV spots - no hook-ups.

• Interior campground, no lakeside spots.

 

MALLARD (M)

• Both tent and RV spots - no hook-ups.

• Lakeside spots available.

• Closest to the Disc Golf course starting spot.

• Playground

 

Osprey (O)

• Both tent and RV spots - no hook-ups.

• Farthest from the festival (2.5 miles).

• Closest to the Model Air Strip field for model plane enthusiasts (must be a member)

 

 

 

THINGS TO NOTE

 

SPEED LIMIT - is 15 mph. Please observe the speed limit and be safe. There are animals, children and bicyclists all throughout the campground. 

 

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF CAMPERS PER SITE = 6 people.

 

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF CARS PER SITE = 2 cars (Two vehicles per site. The first vehicle is paid for as part of the camping fee, the second vehicle must be paid for upon arrival. A third vehicle may be parked for a fee at a designated location inside the Recreation Area.)

 

ACCOMMODATIONS - There are tables and fire rings, some with half grills, at most campsites.

 

MINIMUM RESERVATION ON WEEKENDS = 2 nights (On the weekends we have a 2-night minimum (Friday/Saturday) and on major holidays, a 3-4 night minimum. You are welcome to come on a first-come, first- served basis but since we are always full on the weekends in summer, we would suggest that you call ahead and check availability.
