Our vision for FUSION is to create an immersive experience for people who love music and dance. We aim to create a merging of diverse, distinct, and separate elements into a unified whole. When I envision FUSION, I see a rainbow... a place where all styles of music and dance from around the world come together, where people of all types join in celebration, where music, food, and camping together creates a common bond. A place where smiles, hugs, laughter, dancing, and fun fill the park. I see a rainbow....
Imagine driving into the festival area... with a view of the lake ahead, the sun shining, a soft breeze blows into your car. You've made it! To the first-annual FUSION festival. You're directed over to the long row of palm trees and into a parking spot... the excitement is in the air... laughs, hugs, and smiles go all-around.
Welcome!
At the entrance, you're greeted by Connie and our team of smiling faces as you show your tickets and get your wristband. Your heart starts to race with excitement... you're almost inside to experience all the wonder, magic, and joy that FUSION has to offer!
You've got your wristband, and you're heading in... you walk down the pretty, tree-lined path... smelling the delicious foods wafting from the food trucks, hearing beautiful world music playing on the breeze... there are exotic world dancers fluttering about, waiting to perform. On your left, there's a magical space filled with tents, musicians, and little white twinkle lights strung through the trees... ooh!! It's the Musician's and VIP Camp!
As you walk through the festival space, you hear the delightful sound of live drums, zils, a mizmar, maybe an oud... so many beautiful sounds coming from one place, you are drawn to it like a sailor at sea is drawn to the sirens. Come closer... come closer... come closer...
and dance!
After dancing up a storm over at the Live Music Encampment at FUSION, smiling, and shaking your hips to the sound of the drums... you work up a HUGE appetite! And that's a good thing because just steps away, you smell delicious foods wafting through the air in our fabulous food truck row! Choose from several different delicious items... grab some hand-crafted beer or an oak-ey merlot and cop a squat under a shade tree. Have a meal with friends... make new friends... or reflect on the day thus far. The incredible foods and drinks will be sure to satisfy!
You've worked up an appetite dancing and laughing with new and old friends... you've just picked up some delicious food and drinks and you're off to find a beautiful spot to eat, have a conversation, and reflect... or maybe watch more of the show! You'll find that perfect spot to dine al fresco, under the shade trees, stage right, where there are benches and tables, and little twinkle lights above you like stars in the sky.
With continuous shows all 3 days of FUSION: World Music & Dance Festival, you’re sure to fall in love with new music and see some acts that you already know and adore. Bring a picnic blanket, a chair, or something comfy to sit on in the grass and enjoy the acts all day… save your energy to get up and dance all night! With a view of the lake off to your right, the beautiful Marketplace off to your left, and the Farmer’s Market behind you… sounds from all over the world filling the air… you’ll be in a world of bliss!
You’ve watched some amazing acts and there’s a break between two acts. Hmmm! What to do?! I’ve got it! Wander through our amazing World Marketplace filled with wares and goodies from around the world. Get an exotic henna, a wild body painting, have a cup of tea at the cafe, pick up a few pretties that you can’t find anywhere else, and even get a little pampering!
The Marketplace is sure to delight all of your senses!
We’ll be spending the entire weekend together, dancing, laughing, listening to great music, and eating great food and we want you to feel good doing it! That’s why we’re creating a Mini Farmer’s Market at FUSION just for you! Pick up some fresh produce, maybe some homemade jam, or soft, fresh bread. Whip up a healthy breakfast or lunch over at your campsite or have a little picnic in our Dining area al fresco!
