Jamey Geston is an emerging teen singer-songwriter & multi-instrumentalist (vocals, guitar, ukulele, piano, & bass.  She plays festival stages as well as clubs, coffeehouses, and special charity showcases throughout southern California including shows in Colorado & Arizona. In addition to her unique organic voice style and natural songwriting skills, her songs are captivating, mixed with the emotion of reverence, respect, and wonder inspired by those who catch her performance. A seasoned performer, she has opened for Judy Collins, Grammy-Winning Guitarist, Albert Lee, ‘First Lady of Woodstock’-Melanie Safka, American Idol Runner Up-Crystal Bowersox Diswalla, Rebelution, Iration and has shared the stage with Jeff Bridges, Kenny Loggins and Will Champlin (The Voice.) as well as 100s of her own shows.
 
“I started playing guitar around ten, then self taught myself piano, ukulele, bass. at eleven I started songwriting. I'm really influenced by artists like Elliott Smith, King Krule, The Mamas and the Papas, Joni Mitchell, Mac Demarco, The Velvet Underground, and Angel Olsen (just to name a few).”
 
In fall 2013 she was a top finalist in SB Independent 2013 Downtown Sounds Battle of the Bands, and a featured artist in the 2013 Santa Barbara Band Guide “The 805’s Next Great Music Maker”. She has song placements in two films earning her two IMDb composer and music credits. In the spring of 2014, she was selected to work with an award-winning children’s book author, poet, playwright, and songwriter Mary Amato on a six song ukulele audio/video project rendering the voice of Minerva the lead character in the book “GET HAPPY.”
 
Jamey is working on a new direction with her music, writing new songs, and plans to release her first album at the end of the year. She also is a visual artist and dabbles in photography so she hopes to integrate these alongside her music, possibly on her first album.
